Batima Tleulinova is an Intern at the Institute for Integrated Transitions (IFIT), based in its headquarters in Barcelona. Prior to joining IFIT, she worked with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe in Geneva, Switzerland, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. She has additional experience in the legislative system of the Republic of Kazakhstan as well as in the private sector.
Batima is a Master of Arts candidate in International Law at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. She holds a Bachelor of Law degree in International Law from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where she actively participated in the human rights moot courts. The focus of her studies ranges from the national law of Kazakhstan to political science, and public international law, specifically human rights law and international economic law.
