Michaela Zelenanska

Michaela Zelenanska is an intern at the Institute for Integrated Transitions (IFIT) based at its headquarters in Barcelona. She holds a double Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and the Barcelona Institute of International Studies. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia. She is interested in the intersection of international relations, conflict resolution and public policy.

Michaela held different positions in several countries in the public as well as private sectors, including public diplomacy advisor at the Slovak Embassy in Moscow, political risk analyst for a Belgian think-tank. She also worked at a Slovak NGO promoting youth engagement.

Working languages: Slovak, English, Russian, and Spanish.
