Wejdane Ben Chaabane

Wejdane Ben Chaabane is an Intern at the Institute for Integrated Transitions (IFIT). She holds a Master’s degree in Specialized Multilingual Communication from the University of Geneva and completed an exchange year in International Development at the University of Sussex. She also graduated from the Study of the United States Institutes (SUSI) programme at Saint Mary’s College in the United States.

Her work includes research, stakeholder engagement, programme coordination, and communications with diplomatic institutions, international organisations, and civil society actors. Prior to joining IFIT, she worked as a Communication & Marketing Specialist at Open Cultural Center in Barcelona and as Public Diplomacy and Cultural Affairs Associate at the Consulate General of Switzerland in San Francisco. She has also worked with Geneva Call, Minority Rights Group International, and the Martin Ennals Foundation on humanitarian affairs, human rights, and MENA-focused initiatives.

Wejdane has conducted research on social and political movements in Tunisia and co-directed a documentary addressing migration and discrimination.
