The 2024 IFIT Global Strategy Meeting took place in Puebla, Mexico, and brought together 65 experts from across IFIT’s network. Discussion covered topics including:
- realistic strategies for engaging and confronting violent criminal groups in Latin America and the Caribbean
- global perspectives on elections and polarisation
- ‘horizontal’ pathways to increase peace and reduce fragility
- energy transition and political transition in impoverished oil states
- a new IFIT concept called “fast-track negotiation”
