Adrian Tandee Villa Baca

Adrian Tandee Villa Baca is an Intern at the Institute for Integrated Transitions (IFIT), based in Mexico.

He is an Undergraduate Student in Political Science and International Relations at the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE), a Student Associate at the Mexican Council on International Affairs (COMEXI) and a Research Assistant at the CIDE’s History Division.

His research focuses on the political economy of armed conflict, the privatization of war, and the role of non-state actors in wartime contexts, with a particular interest in the evolution of private military companies, the dispute over strategic resources, and their links with extractivist dynamics.
