Andrés Bernal Sánchez
Andrés Bernal Sánchez is an Audiovisual Communications Intern at the Institute for Integrated Transitions (IFIT) in Barcelona. He has a background in video production, audiovisual journalism, and digital content creation.
Andrés has extensive experience in leading communication teams and crafting impactful communication strategies. Prior to joining IFIT, he worked as an Audiovisual Producer and Content Editor at openDemocracy, where he spearheaded a strategy to transform written content into engaging audiovisual formats. His work successfully reached and resonated with diverse audiences through various video formats, including political analysis series, videocolumns featuring political commentators, and short documentaries.
Andrés holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, and a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI).
