Asia Mustafa Yusuf

Asia Mustafa Yusuf is an intern at the Institute for Integrated Transitions (IFIT). She holds a
bachelor’s degree in international studies, specialising in International Relations and
Diplomacy from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, and a Masters in International
Relations from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom.

Before joining IFIT, Asia worked as a Strategic Communications Officer at the HORN
International Institute for Strategic Studies where she served as the editorial officer
of the HORN Bulletin, managed the weekly newsletter, and oversaw the institute’s
website and social media platforms. In addition, she contributed to the organization
of high-level conferences, workshops, and symposia.

At IFIT, she supports research on peace and transition processes, and drawing her
background in communications, she will also support IFIT’s outreach and visibility.
