Mexico
In the fall of 2019, IFIT launched the Mexico Peacebuilding Support Group: an independent platform of Mexican thought leaders seeking to strengthen the capacity of government and civil society to apply integrated conflict resolution methods to prevent and reduce violence in the country, while addressing the consequences of past violence. The group’s work involves developing creative and realistic policy recommendations that draw on relevant international experiences, as well as the specificities of the Mexican context.
